Paper Pumpkin July 2015

I just recieved my July paper pumpkin and absolutely Love it. There are enough supplies to make 8 cards with some left over.

 

I sat down this morning to work on mine. I did a couple like shown in the example and then a few my own way. Part of what i love about paper pumpkin. If i'm in a creative slump but want to make something I can just follow the instructions and it always turns out great. Or I can mix things up with my own style. 

 the little mugs are pre cut. I stamped them before removing them from the paper.  Hard to see in the picture but the sentiments read "thanks a latte", "get well" , "A cup of cheer".

PPA260 and SUO126

Today's card is a combination of challenges. the SUO126 was using DSP and there are so many great ones to choose from that I was stuck. Then the PPA260 sketch challenge was posted and I came up with this card.

      

I used the Everyday Chic DSP. for the flags, I sponged them in mint macaron and used beautiful bunch for the flower. the sentiment is teeny tiny wishes.

MOJO406

I know it isn't monday but I finally found some time to get to a couple challenges. Today I am posting for the MOJO406 sketch challenge.


 

I used sheltering tree and english Garden DSP. the tree is stamped with soft suede and the leaves are blushing bride and melon mambo. card stock is in whisper white, soft suede, blushing bride, and old olive. I used white seam binding ribbon for the bow.

Wild About Flowers

Today's card is a fun one. I used the Wild About Flowers stamp set along with English Garden DSP, Bow builder Punch, Decorative Label Punch, and Banner Punch.

This Card is easier than it looks. It is a center step card and I followed the tutorial HERE . Or here is a diagram of how to cut and fold. I used the Stampin trimmer to cut and score my lines but you can also use the simply scored to create your score lines.

Happy Birthday cupcake

I spent the day running my children around to find birthday gifts for my husband. So naturally I am in a birthday mood. It is also time for another mojo monday.

 

I embossed the first layer with the decorative dots embossing folder. I then used the cherry on top DSP, along with crushed curry and bermuda bay. The slanted piece is bermuda bay, crushed curry, and whisper white. with cherry on top washi tape. the flower is crushed curry and cherry on top DSP. 

I made the cupcake by stamping watermelon wonder on watermelon wonder cardstock. tip top taupe on crushed curry. the banner statement is from the best of birthday (no longer available). I looked through all my little birthday greetings and just thought it would go well. 

Them Bones

I couldn't sleep and have been up bright and early and decided to do some stamping. I just received this lovely card in a swap, created by Diane Gardner. I fell in love with it and used it, along with the MOJO404 challenge, to create my own card.

  

I used the star framelits, star embossing folder, and the everday chic DSP. crushed curry, tempting turquoise, and real red.

I couldn't stop there and found another challenge. The SUO125 The cutting edge. I kept with the stars theme and made another birthday card. Good thing I have lots of little nephews to give these to.

Circle of Spring

I loved the wonderous wreath set with coordinating framelits and was even more excited for another stamp set to use with the wonderful wreath framelits. You can color the flowers and leaves any color you want. I added a little bird with the bird builder punch. the background is from the English Garden DSP.
