I've been having troubles getting creative lately. So glad for sketch challenges. I used the NAC157 challenge for this christmas card. I used the sentiment from reason for the season, home for christmas dsp, and a gold foil doily.

Thank You
I've been so busy the past few weeks and haven't been able to do as many card challenges as I'd like. So for today I'm going to share a card I made for a swap.
This was made using the Thankful forest friends stamp set. I used a marker to color in the "thank you" on the stamp that says "thankful for you". The paper is from Into the Woods DSP and the embossing is done with the woodland textured embossing folder. I then added a few rhinestones.
I used a sponge dauber to color the trees with soft suede and then sponged the edge of the sentiment with soft suede as well.

making spirits bright
sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I got carried away with canning. lots and lots of plum jam and jellies. I'm all done now and can get back to some stamping. I have several swaps coming up and managed to get one of my cards done today.
tomorrow is the day!!! you will be able to order from the holiday catalog. the sentiment is From the Branches, the santa is fussy cut out of Home for christmas dsp pack. the banners are from the Merry Moments DSP. I used the star border punch to create the confetti and added in a few gold sequins.
I used the circle framelits to create the window and glitter frame for the shaker part of the card.

CELEBRATE!
Next week is my monthly stamp club and I had to make a black and white card. I admit i've been stuck and been putting it off. Then I saw the mojo monday challenge and decided to use it to create my swap card. As I got going it turned into a celebrate card and just needed a piece of cake to go with it.
I used glitter paper for some accents. The confetti dots are embossed in gold and then I sponged the edge of the card and cake with gold ink (no longer available but I just had to use it) .

so today I chose a sketch challenge and a color challenge. Yep, it's another halloween card. Now I know the color throwdown shows a flower and butterfly, the spider web doily can count as a flower right?
I just love this little stamp set. I love that I can color it anyway I want. I used the Aqua painters to color the witch and the cat. the stamp set is the Haunt Ya Later set in the 2015 holiday catalog.

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I did a booth at our local fair helping people make cards and bags and I was a little burnt out on card making and needed to regroup.
Today I used the sketch from retro sketches. It's another halloween card because halloween time is just my favorite. I can't wait to start decorating so until then i'll be happy making cards.

I can not say enough good things about the new halloween products coming up in the holiday catalog. Only 2 more weeks left.
This card was made with the Howl-O-Ween Treats and boo to you framelits which will be available in a bundle. I love when stamp sets have coordinating punches or framelits so I don't have to fussy cut.
I sponged the sentiment and the skull and crossbones with black ink and then popped the skull up with dimensionals. .
The paper is from the Happy Hauntings DSP pack and the spider doilies are just the best.
Now to figure out a neighbor treat to give with all these halloween cards.

holiday sneak peak
today I am sharing a card I made for a swap. I used product from the 2015 mini holiday catalog which will be available september 1st.
The flower and sentiment are from Reason for the season. I fussy cut the flower. This set comes in a great bundle with a punch to make a 3-D flower that I will show at a later time.
I made the window by placing all 3 layers of the card together and cutting with the smaller size framelit all at once. I then pulled them apart and cut the music note dsp with the next size up to create the frame. I then used my stamp a ma jig to position the image on the inside of the card.

PP256, Inkspire me challenge #209
sorry for the late post. I had a very busy day. Today I made a card combining 2 challenges.
I was able to place my holiday catalog pre order and I am getting more and more in the mood to make holiday projects. So I thought i'd throw out one more springtime card before all my holiday product arrives. I am so excited and can't wait to get creating.
For Today's card I used Circle of Spring, papillon potpourri, The background embossing is the spring flowers embossing folders ( in the clearance rack right now). I colored the images with blushing bride, melon mambo, old olive, and mossy meadow.
