To celebrate the new holiday catalog I am going to be doing some fun giveaways. 

 I will do a new giveaway each month the catalog is available so be sure to check back.

This week's mojo monday challenge was tall & skinny. 

• Pear pizzazz 3.5" x 11". scored at 5.5"

• lost lagoon 5.25" x 2", embossed with decorative dots
• snowflake is cut out with snowflake card thinlit die and stamped with letterpress winter in lost lagoon.
• layered snowflakes cut out with snowflake card thinlit in silver foil sheet and lost lagoon. topped with frosted sequins.
• "Be Merry" is from Holiday invitation and layered on lost lagoon , and whisper white ribbon.

A Sketch Challenge

Here is my card for the pals paper arts sketch challenge this week. I just bought lovely as a tree and had to use it. I sponged the top with sky blue and then stamped the trees and layered on top of a piece of sky blue paper. the banner is also stamped in lost lagoon and layered on lost lagoon paper. the ribbon is from the holiday catalog available august 28th.

I had so much fun making this card that I couldn't stop and came up with 2 more.

The first one is stamped in Pear pizzazz on whisper white paper and layered on pear pizzazz paper. I dabbed silver sparkle dazzling details all over the trees. 

 

The 2nd is layered on basic grey, basic black, whisper white. I cut out a circle using the 2" circle punch and used as a template to sponge my moon. I used daffodil delight and hello honey for the moon. I then sponged smoky slate all over and stamped the trees and bat in basic black. I used silver sparkle dazzling details to make the stars. The "happy haunting" is from ghoulish greetings in the holiday catalog.

This week's #stampingsunday challenge was with one of my favorite sets from the holiday catalog, For All Things.

Mojo monday MOJO359

This week's challenge for Mojo monday was lots of fun. I used paper from the trim the tree DSP pack. the tag was made from the tag topper scalloped punch. I cut out a circle using the 2" circle punch and then cut out a tree using the tree framelit in the snowflake card thinlit set. i cut out another circle with window sheets and added another circle to the back. i filled iwth stars punched with the confetti star punch and attached with dimensionals to the tag. the "Be Merry" is from Holiday invitation and the ribbon is cherry cobbler 1" sheer linen ribbon.

august paper pumpkin

I was sick today and being a little lazy. I got tired of laying around just watching tv. luckily my paper pumpkin had arrived. I spread a blanket over my lap and used the box as my little desk and went for it. these cards are so quick and easy to make and look great when you are done. 

 

  

I used 2 of the small envelopes to create a little box to hold the the smaller cards in the kit. the chevron ribbon was from my own stash.

  

Here is my set up. a little unorganized but kept me entertained for a bit.

fall fest preview

I was up late thanks to a very loud thunder storm and decided it was a perfect time to play with some stamps. I am showing you another preview of the Fall Fest stamp set. This is one of my favorite sets in the holiday catalog. works great for halloween or fall projects. The stamp set will be available as a bundle with the Fun Fall Framelits. 

For my first card the background comes from the Motley Monsters DSP and the Flag is from ghoulish greetings, the tiny "boo!" comes from Project Life Holiday Cheer. I used tangelo twist, tangerine tango, and pumpkin pie for my 3 pumpkins. 

 

The 2nd card was fairly simple. All the flags are from the motley monsters DSP pack. the sentiment banner is from ghoulish greetings and the ghost is from fall fest. I punched out a 2nd ghost in black and put him behind the main ghost to give a little dimension.

   

Today is another sneak peak for the holiday catalog which will be available in only 2 more weeks. 

This card is for the mojo monday challenge MOJO358. 

 

I layered crushed curry and tangerine tango for the background and then put a piece of color me autumn designer washi tape. For the center piece i layered all my solid colors again and topped with a piece of DSP from motley monsters. I used Fall Fest stamp set and the fun fall framelits for the pumpkin and leaves and added some autumn wooden elements. After stamping the pumpkin i used a tangerine tango marker to draw in some lines.
